Boundless Introduces Integrated Telephone Service

Boundless Communications, the Fibre to the Mast superfast rural internet specialist, today announced the launch of a low-cost integrated phone service to its broadband customers.

Boundless customers can now add a telephone line connection to their broadband package, which completely bypasses the existing copper cables. Boundless high speed broadband customers can add a telephone connection for just £5.00 extra per month as well as very low call costs from just 1p to land-lines and 8p to mobiles.

In a deal with award-winning IP telephone wholesaler, Hello Telecom plc, Boundless customers can enjoy a seamless internet and telephone service in areas that are unable to receive high speed broadband over traditional telephone lines as they are too far from a telephone exchange or cabinet.

Starting at a monthly combined package cost of just £26.99, Boundless customers can now receive fibre optic broadband speeds and full-featured telephone services at costs that are comparable to conventional providers in urban areas. This means that rural homes and businesses are no longer disadvantaged simply by living a few miles from their nearest exchange.

David Burns, Founder of Boundless Communications stated, “Many of our customers have asked if they can take our wireless FTTM broadband service and cease their land-line rental. After a great deal of work, I am really pleased that we can deliver a feature-rich telephone service that is simple and very low cost. With line rental that is nearly £10 per month cheaper than a copper-based service, our customers can finally say goodbye to the wires and hello to fast internet and cheap calls. Many customers prefer to deal with a single company who will take responsibility for supporting their internet and telephone connection and we pride ourselves on working so hard for our customers to keep them happy.”

“As Boundless is in a very unique position of owning a private end-to-end connection to its customers, we are able to manage excellent service levels and most importantly, deliver a service that is simple. We simply provide a new handset or an adapter that can be plugged in and they get a dial-tone – that’s it. We have also been able to build-in extra features that some operators charge extra for, such as caller-display and advanced voice mail.” Burns concludes.

At launch, Boundless provides support for a selected list of telephone handsets and analogue telephone adapters.
